Head Softball Coach (Part-Time)
Emma Willard School, an all girls boarding and day school (grades 9-12) in Troy, New York is accepting applications for the position of Head Softball Coach for the spring 2012 season. The Head coach is responsible for managing all aspects of the softball program including coaching and training of student-athletes and other duties necessary. Additional skills include excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills along with the ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision. Previous High School and/or Collegiate softball coaching and playing experience preferred. First aid and CPR certification required. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and be available afternoons (2:00-6:00pm)/ weekends/evenings when necessary.

Math and Science Teaching Fellowship
Emma Willard School is a private boarding and day girls’ school in Troy, New York, that will be celebrating its 200th birthday in 2014. We are proud to announce an exciting new teaching and learning opportunity for recent college graduates. Our math and science teaching fellow will both contribute to life at our school and earn a Master's degree at nearby Union College or Skidmore College. This two-year position involves teaching math and science under the guidance of an experienced teacher. The fellow will also coach one season of sports and work in the dorm with adolescent girls, which necessarily limits the position to female applicants.
Compensation includes full payment for graduate school tuition and expenses, room and board, and a stipend of $18,000.
