Accessibility
Recent work on campus has improved our accessibility for those who have difficulty with mobility. The following information should aid visitors in accessing all central campus buildings.
Buildings with new handicapped accessibility features
Slocum—handicapped lift at inner campus entrance closest to Weaver serves the first floor; no handicapped access to basement or second floor
Sage—handicapped lift in vestibule inside new main entrance, off the new front entry oval; lift to get down to Sage Study is across from Student Services, next to the fireplace; elevator in locker room, just off the Student Center
Kellas—basement fully accessible; main level reached by ramp at athletic field end of building; handicapped lift in Servery required to get to lower dining, Kellas Foyer, or Hyphen/Sage
Hyphen—access from either Sage or Kellas (see above)
Note: Sage, Hyphen, and Kellas main levels will be fully connected and accessible once the 2e-café corridor is open (as it will be this weekend)
Other buildings
Hunter—ramp to main entrance; elevator inside to right (fully handicapped accessible)
Weaver—handicapped access via Hunter, all floors
Mott Gym—fully handicapped accessible main level; second level accessible via exterior ramp along side of Cheel Aquatics Center
Cheel Aquatics—fully accessible
Chapel—main level accessible via ramp at rear; basement and second floors not handicapped accessible
Snell—main level fully handicapped accessible; second level not accessible (elevator too small); dedicated assistance from fully mobile person
Dietel—main level fully handicapped accessible; second level not accessible (elevator too small); basement accessible via Maguire, only with dedicated assistance from fully mobile person
Maguire—main level fully handicapped accessible; second level not accessible (elevator too small); basement can be reached from the outside with assistance
Laundry—main level handicapped accessible; second level not handicapped accessible (stairs only)
