Advanced Placement Courses
tudents are prepared for Advanced Placement examinations in a variety of ways. In some subjects, students supplement advanced classes with additional work. Other courses are designated as Advanced Placement because specific preparation is needed for the examination. Except when designated as AP optional, an Advanced Placement course requires that a student take the Advanced Placement examination to receive course credit.
