This series contains information correspondence to and from Emma (Hart) Willard between 1809 and 1867. Most of the correspondence is to family and former students. Important correspondents include: John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Henry Clay, DeWitt Clinton, William Henry Seward, and Amos Eaton. About half of the correspondence is photocopies of letters from other collections.
