Diaries

Emma (Hart) Willard's diaries from the mid 1840's until the year of her death in 1870 are primarily concerned with commentary about the weather, visits to and from friends and relatives, and mail she sent and received. Of particular interest is the typescript of the 1845 diary, which has been annotated with information about the people of whom Emma Willard is writing.
