| Emma (Hart) Willard published a great many textbooks, articles, letters and poems during her lifetime. Many of these publications related to her interest in the higher education of women in this country and abroad. The most important of these was The Plan for Improving Female Education upon which she based her teaching at her school in Waterford and later at the Troy Female Seminary. | ||
