The parts that will be most useful at Emma Willard are: MasterFILE Select, which is a large database that contains full text for 780 journals, and abstracts and indexing for 2,770 more. As part of this TOPICsearch is a database for students researching social, political, and economic issues, current events, scientific discoveries, and more. It contains 40,000 full text documents, selected full text newspaper articles, periodical articles, and other information sources. Another helpful component of this database is Science Reference Center. It is a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full text science-specific content. And General Science Collection offers full text coverage for more than 60 of the most popular science publications dating back as far as 1992. Oxford English Dictionary
The accepted authority on the evolution of the English language over the
last millennium. It is a guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation
of over half a million words, both present and past. It traces the usage
