Bicentennial Scholars (for boarding students)
In honor of our Bicentennial year in 2014, Emma Willard School will award up to $25,000 in merit-based boarding scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year distributed among deserving applicants entering grades 9-11. These merit scholarships are renewable for the duration of the student’s enrollment at Emma Willard School.
Capital District Scholars (for day students)
For the 2013-2014 academic year, Emma Willard School will grant up to $45,000 in merit-based scholarships to deserving day student applicants to grades 9-11. These merit scholarships are renewable for the duration of the student’s enrollment at Emma Willard School.
Due to the competitive nature of these merit scholarships, applicants are encouraged to also apply for need-based financial assistance if enrollment at Emma Willard would otherwise be cost prohibitive. Academic merit is also a consideration in the prioritization of need-based financial aid awards.
Davis Scholars (for international students)
Together with Emma Willard School, the Shelby Cullom Davis family has established a program for international students to attract highly motivated potential future leaders. Emma Willard School will grant two need-based boarding scholarships (worth up to the full cost of attendance) for 2012-13.
As a Davis Scholar financial support continues throughout the student’s college years, provided she attends one of the Davis Scholar colleges.
Holloway Scholars (for boarding students)
With funding by the Charles and Marjorie Holloway Foundation, Emma Willard School will grant two need-based boarding scholarships (worth up to the full cost of attendance) for 2012-13. Both domestic and international candidates are eligible for these scholarships.
