Dear Alumnae, As the 3s and 8s know, Reunion 2008 at the end of September will feature a symposium on young women making grassroots change, Women, Power, and Possibility. All alumnae, regardless of class year, are invited back to campus to be a part of this memorable event on Saturday of reunion weekend. Saturday will start with a book discussion on Three Cups of Tea (details below). The afternoon will feature an organ recital on the newly restored Noack organ in the chapel by world-renowned concert organist Gail Archer, and a toast and tribute to Mr. Jack Easterling. All non-reunion alumnae will receive invitations to Saturday’s festivities this month. We hope you can join the 3s and 8s for this fabulous day. Visit the reunion weekend website for a look at the preliminary schedule. Best, Molly Price, Director of Alumnae Relations Women, Power, and PossibilityYou are invited to consider with us how young women use the power of their intellect and the energy of their passion to make positive change in today’s world. Join us as we hear from a group of seven young women already making their mark around the globe. You can read more about the speakers here. Just Announced: Jessica Jackley Flannery, co-founder of Kiva, will present the opening remarks for the symposium.
