This month was declared “Fab Feb” by the Senior Proctors, and it’s been a month full of fun, highlighted by the month-long Emma Idol competition, Ring Week (culminating in Ring Dinner, when the junior class received their EWS rings), a special Valentine’s Day edition of Morning Reports, and Spirit Week. Reunion 2008 is just seven short months away, September 26–28. Now’s the time to get back in touch with old classmates and make your travel plans to come back to Troy. The weekend will be filled with opportunities to spend time with classmates, share stories with current Emma Willard students, and relax in the fall sunshine on Mount Ida. Did you know?

• Emma Willard recycled 85% of all waste generated by the recently completed campus renovation project;
• All milk served in Emma Willard’s dining hall is certified (rGBH) hormone-free;
• Emma Willard dining hall has recently gone “trayless” as a means of saving energy and water and reducing the amount of wasted food.

Sue Norton-Scott ’75’s artwork is featured at the Arizona State University Mercado Galleria for the month of February in a show entitled Paintings of Substance and Intrigue.  You can see some of the images here or visit the show if you’re in Phoenix.
