Dear Alumnae, While it’s not (quite) June, we wanted to send this early to be sure to remind you to tune in to www.emmawillard.org/commencement on June 1 at 10 a.m. to watch a live webcast of Emma Willard’s commencement. Jack Easterling will be giving the commencement address, the very first time a faculty member has been given this place of honor. Jack is retiring this year after 40 years at Emma Willard. This time of year we’re thinking vacation. Have you ever wished EWS offered alumnae travel programs? Where would you like to go? What faculty members would you want to travel with? I’d love to hear your thoughts. The Davis family recently chose Emma Willard as one of five independent schools in which to launch a similar pilot program for young scholars.
