Emma Willard student benefits from a rigorous program of sports and
fitness. Whether she plays on an interscholastic team, maintains personal
fitness through organized exercise, or improves her skill at lifetime sports,
each student learns cooperation while building character and strength, and
she enjoys the feeling of well-being that comes from being physically fit.
Varsity and JV sports include basketball, crew, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and volleyball. Physical Education offerings include aerobics, fitness walking, running, self-defense, soccer, swimming, tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, weight conditioning, yoga, and more.
