Major Gifts Officer

s a key member of the major gifts team, the Major Gifts Officer will manage a pool of 200 prospective donors. These individuals include alumnae and parents with giving potential of $25,000 and above located throughout the United States. The Major Gifts Officer will conduct 10 to 15 visits per month and will participate in cultivation and strategy discussions of top donors and prospective donors.

Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree and an appreciation for girls’ education. A willingness to travel extensively is required, and familiarity with planned gift vehicles is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with three or more years of experience in development or a related field. Compensation will be based on experience.

Emma Willard School is in the final phase of a $75 million comprehensive campaign that has surpassed $60 million.
