, 1993 Kevin B. Bradley has taught theater at Emma Willard since 1993. He holds a B.A. from North Adams State College and an M.A. from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Bradley serves as advisor to the Children’s Theatre community service group. In his spare time he writes plays and acts with various theater groups on Cape Cod. He firmly believes that “Theater can help any student find the strength within her to be confident, articulate, and relaxed in any situation.” |

An arts instructor at Emma Willard since 2002, Cyndy Barbone holds an M.F.A. in textiles from California College of Arts and Crafts. She is a two-time recipient of the Individual Artist's Fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts, and her weavings have been exhibited throughout the US. She maintains a studio in Greenwich, New York. Cyndy teaches textiles and color & design. |

, 2005 Nicole M. Hapeman graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A. in biology. Prior to joining the Emma Willard community, she was the art director for the Kingswood Youth Center in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Nicole has also taught ceramics and special education, and counseled and tutored children who were placed outside of the regular classroom due to emotional/behavioral issues. |

, 2002 Susan A. Hoffer is trained in all aspects of foundation curriculum and holds both AP and IB portfolio curriculum certification. At Emma Willard she teaches AP Art History and AP Drawing Portfolio. She initiated the High School Juried Regional Art Exhibition, a venue intended to showcase the artistic efforts of art students in area high schools and has, for many years worked as an AP reader/writer for the College Board. Susan has received artist residency awards for her glazed, oil installation panels, the most recent of which was at the Tyrone Guthrie Center in Ireland. An Adirondack 46er, she especially enjoys winter hiking. |

, 1994 Dance instructor Sue Lauther has been at Emma Willard since 1994. She holds a B.A. in outdoor recreation from Eastern Washington University and an M.F.A. in dance from the University of Illinois. She has served as a guest teacher and choreographer for projects around the globe. Ms. Lauther's choreography encompasses a broad range of styles and perspectives-from playful to pensive, zany to formal. |

, 1997 Dance instructor Barbara P. Magee received an M.F.A. in dance from the University of Illinois in 1987 and has since established her reputation professionally as a performer, choreographer, and instructor. She has been with Emma Willard since 1997. Ms. Magee is involved in the Work Program. |

, 1981 Linda McClusky came to Emma Willard in 1981 and is the director of instrumental music. She holds a B.M. from the Eastman School of Music and an M.S. from The College of St. Rose. In addition to directing the orchestra and ensembles, Ms. McClusky teaches a music appreciation course entitled “Exploring the Magic in Music.” She is coadvisor to FASO, the international student club. Ms. McClusky adores being the dorm affiliate on freshman hall on Wednesday nights and also enjoys travel, friends, gardening, needlework, reading, and fitness walking. |

The Catholic University of America Performance Certificate, Konservatorium der Stadt Wien, Austria Piano Barbara Musial began teaching piano and serving as instrumental accompanist at Emma in 2000. She holds a B.Mus. and an M.Mus. in piano performance, and a Performance Certificate from the Vienna Conservatory of Music in Vienna, Austria. She is a member of the duo-piano team Musial and Musial. |

, 1968 Janice Nimetz joined the Emma Willard faculty in 1968 as a music instructor. She holds a B.Mus. and an M.Mus. from the Eastman School of Music and an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University. Ms. Nimetz has participated in several piano master classes given by Menahem Pressler, and likes bicycling, sculpture, and cats. |

, 2002 Dr. Debra Spiro-Allen joined Emma Willard in 2002. She holds a B.M. from Boston University, an M.M. from New England Conservatory, and a D.M.A. from Boston University. She is director of vocal music. |

, 1979 Mark Van Wormer has been teaching visual arts at Emma Willard since 1979. He earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and an M.F.A. in photography from the Milton Avery graduate school of Bard College. He has been a freelance photographer for over three decades, receiving numerous grants and awards and showing his work throughout North America. Mr. Van Wormer's favorite camera is a $15 plastic model called the Holga. He enjoys Celtic and African music, Indian and Mexican food, and travel in Greece, Maine, and the American Southwest. |
