 he Annual Fund provides ongoing philanthropic support for Emma Willard School, helping to underwrite the day-to-day cost of operating the school and educating each student. Like all independent schools, private colleges, and universities, we rely on the generosity of alumnae, parents, and friends. |
| Emma Willard’s annual operating budget is over $15 million dollars. As you can see, tuition revenue and endowment income covers only 83 percent of the actual cost of educating each student. The Annual Fund is critical to closing the remaining 10 percent gap in our operating budget. |

| Your unrestricted support for the annual operating budget supports everything that happens on this campus and helps to provide a hidden subsidy of approximately $13,000 for each student.
