Giving to Emma Willard

Parent Giving at Emma Willard

The Parent Fund is the portion of the Annual Fund given by current parents to Emma Willard each year. These donations make it possible for Emma Willard to recruit and retain inspiring faculty members; to maintain and improve the facilities that your daughter uses every day; and to ensure that as many qualified girls as possible can enjoy the benefits of an Emma Willard education. If you are happy that your daughter is able to attend Emma Willard, if you love hearing her talk about her new friends and favorite teachers, if you are proud of her passions for a favorite sport, class, or club, please consider making a gift to the Parent Fund in her honor.

Each generation of Emma girls, starting with the first and continuing through all our own daughters and on into the future, carries forward a special type of “DNA”—one begun with the vision and mission of Emma Willard herself. This strand of unfolding promise instills Emma girls with a sense of possibility, deep interests, and growing commitment to serve and shape their world.

Every gift you give to Emma Willard School allows some of that promise to be realized. Your support benefits your daughter and her schoolmates this year and benefits the world for years to come.

Trudy Hall, Head of School

Included in Emma Willard’s regular communications efforts is a series of messages from Trudy Hall, Head of School. The importance of peer contact, having crucial family conversations, managing the stress of exams, and current literature on girls’ development and education are just some of the topics explored in a personal and dynamic series of essays.
