
The Dietel Library
The Library is a central fixture in student campus life. Boasting 35,000 titles, the library spans two floors and features a cozy fireplace surrounded by plush chairs and couches for quiet study. The library was built between 1966 and 1967 and named for then Principal William Moore Dietel (now Principal Emeritus), husband of Linda Remington Dietel ’48, P '76 P '81.

Emma Willard School Archive
The Archive contains a wealth of historical documents that provide the written and visual proof of the school’s rich history. Researchers visit from all over the United States to access our collections. The larger and more widely used records housed in the school archive are the 19th and 20th century student letters collection, documents and artifacts related to the Troy Female Seminary, and The Emma Hart Willard collection.
