Junior Retreat

Beginning with the 2011-2012 academic year, Junior Seminar will be replaced by a condensed, two-day introduction to the college admissions process called Junior Retreat. This retreat is required for all juniors.

3:30 Preparing for the SAT – Tips For Success
4:15 The Dynamics of the Selective College Admissions Process – Keynote Speaker Mary Lou Bates, Dean of Admission and Aid, Skidmore College
5:00 Depart Skidmore/Return to Emma Willard
6:00  Junior Class Dinner
7:30 The College Experience – Keynote Speaker (perhaps an area college dean of students, a career planning director, and/or a student panel) or a film with discussion
