of today and tomorrow is linked with everything we do at Emma
Willard. Our community Web site is a resource for information from class
assignments to campus news. Students have access to more than 100 computers
located throughout the school, and dorm rooms are wired for direct Internet
and Emma Willard network access (supporting both Macs and Windows PCs).
The Media
Center provides production and educational multimedia equipment
and services to students, faculty, and staff, including computer projection
systems, DVD players, film-editing capabilities, and PowerPoint instruction.
The William Moore Dietel Library offers myriad resources. More than 100 periodical subscriptions and extensive back files in print and online. Electronic resources such as ProQuest, EBSCO, Infotrac, humanities and science databases. An interlibrary loan system with public and university partners. Comprehensive special collections that include Emma Hart Willard’s published texts and 19th-century student letters and notebooks. The library itself is a vital gathering place for reading, reflection, and research.
