Summer Programs

Emma Willard School offers summer programs for girls of many ages. Phase I of our campus master plan has been completed, and we offer new, exciting spaces for our GirlSummer students. Click here to view our new facilities.

GirlSummer Residential Program

EWS has created three two-week overnight GirlSummer Residential Program sessions for older girls entering grades 7-11. Now entering its sixth year, our extraordinary Summer Academic Enrichment Program features seven distinct academic tracks. GirlSummer Day Program

Our original GirlSummer Day Program for girls ages 6–13 offers an athletic experience comparable to sports camps, along with varied offerings in art, dance, drama, and writing.

Two sessions, each two weeks in length, are offered each year. Sessions for 2008 are:

July 21–August 1, 2008

The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology—Girls Only Science Camps
CMOST’s GIST Science camps are offered to girls only, ages 5–11 years old. Camps are limited to a maximum of 10 participants. Exploding soda, dancing spaghetti, wetland wonders, robotics, snails, beaver dams, and liquid lasagna. Are you curious as to what these things are? Then CMOST Science Camps are for you! Each day of camp is offered at CMOST, with selected sessions traveling to Emma Willard School science labs for hands-on experimenting (transportation provided), and every day will feature fascinating science experiments, craft activities and games.
