GirlSummer is dedicated to providing an exciting and stimulating academic environment, based on the philosophy that fun and learning go hand-in-hand in the summer. Young women come together from across the world to focus on five areas of development: learning, exploration, friendships, personal growth, and fun. During our residential sessions, GirlSummer students enjoy the campus, facilities and traditions of Emma Willard School, one of the most prestigious independent girls’ schools in the country.
These include a love of the life of the mind, a commitment to service, courage and confidence, grace and creativity, and collaboration and friendship. Known for its rigor, Emma Willard promotes intellectual curiosity and disciplined study habits through a challenging curriculum distinguished by a wide array of advanced placement courses and electives.
