Emma Willard School is one of the oldest school for girls in the country. The 200th birthday of the school’s founding will be celebrated in 2014.
Reunion Giving
Reunion giving is a unique opportunity for alumnae to honor the philosophies and traditions that distinguished their experiences at Emma Willard School.
Whether this is your 50th or 5th reunion, class gifts are great way to commemorate each milestone.
The Reunion Giving program consists of volunteers from each reunion class who personally contact and reconnect classmates with Emma Willard School. The object of Reunion Giving is to increase class participation in honor of this milestone, while raising awareness about the need for support of the Emma Fund. Each gift provides immediate assistance for the students, faculty and staff who make Emma Willard School such a premier institution, while ensuring a strong foundation for the future classes and female leaders.
For some alumnae, reunion is a time to make their first gift. For others, it is an opportunity to commemorate this milestone by increasing their typical annual level of support. A number of alumnae double or triple their annual support during their reunion year. Alumnae may also be interested in making a planned or multiyear gift in honor of a particular reunion. For more information please contact Jill Smith at (518) 833-1787 or jsmith@emmawillard.org.
