When students arrive at Emma, we encourage them to try out a new skill or continue to excel in a sport they’ve been training in for years.

At Emma, we can have first-time participants engaging with state and national champions, all spending time together and learning from one another. No matter your skill level, you can find a place to belong and grow! Our focus on wellness through movement goes beyond team sports, including activities from dance to yoga to Practicum sports.

Die Hard Athletes

Congrats to our Die Hards!

Our Die Hard athletes have been Varsity Club members since their 9th or 10th grade years. They have received a variety of team awards: Coaches awards, Most Improved awards, and Most Valuable athlete awards. Some are Emma Willard record holders and some have received external recognition by their respective leagues and Section 2 Athletics.

“I thank the Emma Willard athletic program for providing students with opportunities to try different sports and disciplines within them. This exposure—paired with encouraging coaches, supportive teammates, and a general emphasis on fun—positively shaped my time as a student-athlete. I will always look back fondly on the memories I made as a jester.”
