Counseling
Emma’s Health Center and Counselors are committed to the emotional wellbeing of all Emma Willard School constituencies, especially our students.
Our Counselors have earned advanced professional degrees in various mental health fields and are licensed by the State of New York. Services are free and confidential for all students.
Confidential appointments with the school counselors may be made through the “Counseling Center” area on MyEmma, dropping in at the health center, or by emailing a counselor.
Emergency after hours services are available in evenings and on weekends.
In addition to our on-site counselors, students at Emma Willard School have free immediate access to teletherapy and wellness programming through TimelyCare, the leading student mental health and wellness platform. Students can choose a therapist based on their preferences and needs, including availability, issue, gender, language, and/or ethnicity.
