Gym Games 

Girls participate in age-appropriate games to promote physical fitness as fun while developing skills in teamwork, muscular coordination, and mental fortitude.  

Paddle Sports 

Girls receive instruction in Pickleball and Tennis. Experience daily practice of serving and scoring with an opportunity to play with a teammate. Feel free to bring your own racket (though gear will be provided) and learn new skills on the court. 

Swimming (Independent Swimming Skills Required)

Girls have the opportunity to cool off and participate in this fun swim activity in our aquatic center under the supervision of two Red Cross certified lifeguards. 

Disclaimer: A swimming test will be administered on the first day for those enrolled in free swim. The pool is 4 feet deep in the shallow end and 12 feet in the deep end. Being able to swim prior to participating is required. Swimmers are also required to bring their own towels and goggles. 

Zumba 

Want to get active outside of traditional sport? Learn a step-by-step routine while breaking a sweat! Zumba is a fun workout that involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance and will keep you wanting more!

Beads Bananza 

Create art that you're proud to wear! Choosing from an array of options of strings, beads and more -  you will learn to create friendship bracelets, keychains and all types of jewelry! 

Galaxy Creators 

Tap into your creative side and create a galaxy to escape to with a group of your fellow campers. Demonstrate to the other groups all that there is to discover in your new world!

Intro to Clay Making 

Learn how to create unique clay creatures, bowls, and decorations!

Visual Arts 

Do you want to work on your creative vision and output? Girls will merge mindfulness, creativity, and goal-setting in this hands-on art elective. You will learn techniques in different mediums and work to develop skills and abilities to complete a variety of projects.

Dance: Hip Hop/Jazz Fusion 

Dancers of all levels will be encouraged to express themselves in this dance elective!

Theatre: Broadway Bound 

If you are interested in musical theatre, this mix of drama, song and dance is for you! Guided by talented drama and dance instructors, girls will have the chance to work with familiar musical selections and scripts.

Theatre: Stars of Tomorrow 

If you are interested in honing your creative writing talents and bringing a character to life, you have the chance to do so as a star of tomorrow! Bring out that actor inside of you by creating a group skit for the world to see while learning the techniques for stage writing!

Newspaper 

This hands-on, student-centered, experiential class puts our girls in charge of reporting on life at GirlSummer. Students will spend the first eight days writing, reporting, interviewing, and photographing the big stories of GirlSummer. On the final day of camp, they will distribute the newspaper to everyone. Come and join the GirlSummer newsroom!

Passport 

Be ready to visit new countries through virtual travel, food tasting, and story. Passport provided!

Animal Sciences 

A deep dive into the varying animal kingdoms! Learn more about your favorite animals and their environments. From Whales to Elephants you will explore what makes each special. 

Lab Sciences

Put on your lab coat and get ready for science experiments that will rock your world. Learn how to combine everyday items to create curious contraptions and potions for a variety of uses.

Challenge Island 

Adventure lovers! Through a series of individual tests and team tests you will figure out ways to achieve results. Can you undo a human knot? What about making your way from one side of the triangle to the other with just two planks of wood? This elective is all about strategy.

The Mindful Hour 

An hour to explore the many ways that we can slow down and appreciate what is in front of us through meditation, mindful activities, and games.

Sleuths, Detectives, and Investigators

Did the butler do it? Use investigative techniques to solve mysteries! Try your hand at fingerprint identification, analysis of clues, and interviewing to solve a whodunit. Offered for girls third grade or older.
