Ultrawoman Amy VanTassel '94 Makes Her Mark in Israel

Katie Coakley
Amy VanTassel ’94 is no stranger to the Ultraman competition, a three-day test of an athlete’s physical and mental endurance through a 6.2-mile open swim, a 90-mile bike ride, another 172-miles on the bike, and a double marathon—52.4 mile run. She has won the competition twice and placed second once.
Amy headed to Israel this past November with the editor of Wattie Ink and shared her experience. Read her account: “Ultraman Israel: Follow the Arrows, Avoid the Land Mines.”
