Emma Willard Senior Isaac H. Named National Merit Scholarship Winner
Emma Willard School is proud celebrate senior Isaac H. on being named a winner of a National Merit Scholarship!
The 2019 competition for National Merit Scholarships began back in October 2017 when over 1.6 million juniors from more than 22,000 high schools across the nation took the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which served as an initial screen of candidates.

These 16,000 Semifinalists continued in the competition, with 15,000 meeting the very high academic standards and other requirements to reach the Finalist level.
This year, Isaac is one of 7,500 students out of the original 1.6 million candidates to earn the distinction of “Merit Scholar” and receive a scholarship award.
