Celebrating Women in Sports

Kaitlin Resler, Melissia Mason
February 5th is recognized as National Girls and Women in Sports Day! We acknowledge the accomplishments of female athletes, recognize the influence of sports participation for women and girls, and honor the progress and continuing struggle for equality for women in sports.

Many of our staff members have benefited from the impact of sports participation. During Tuesday’s Morning Reports (all-school gathering), staff members shared photos from their days of growing up playing field hockey, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, track, softball, pickleball, tennis, and so much more. They also shared inspiration that they have received from parents, coaches, mentors, and fellow athletes along the way. We would like to thank all of those who have inspired us to greatness and instilled a life-long love of sport!

These staff members are now a vital part of influencing our current students to love athletics and strive for excellence. Enjoy some selections of our teams this year, and thank you to the coaches and instructors who inspire us!
