Hanna H. ’27 has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Concrete Wolf Chapbook Award for her poem, "Mom, You Once Spoke of a River." She was also recently chosen by YoungArts as a Winner with Distinction in Poetry.

Hanna shares, “I’ve been invited to attend National YoungArts Week in Miami, and this recognition also makes me eligible to apply for the U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. I’m really excited for the opportunity!” Hanna's poetry was the product of work she did last summer at the Iowa Young Writers' Studio.
