A Close Second

With so many exciting moments over the course of the year, it’s worth an honorable mention of our second-most-viewed post, featuring guest artists teaching dance and drumming.

Considering the phenomenal impact of a change in leadership, it’s no wonder that the most viewed video of the year was Dr. Karen Lassey’s “Why Emma” interview.

Most Shared Instagram Story

With social media serving as the great connector, how appropriate that the most socially shared story this year was the first community gathering of Morning Reports in Klingenstein Concert Hall.

What Stopped Your Scroll

When something makes folks linger for more than just a few seconds, it’s worth noting. This year, the blog post viewers spent the longest amount of time on centered around a fresh Emma Green initiative: Willard’s Wardrobe.

Most Engaging Post

Our most engaging post across Facebook and Instagram was a collaborative one with Recover Green Roofs, the company that created the roof of the Wallace Center annex (notably, the owner of Recover is Mark Winterer, son of Vicky Thompson Winterer ’61, who is an honorary trustee and honorary co-chair of the Infinite Horizon campaign). This was one of many social posts about our new performing arts and community space, especially as the design began racking up architectural awards

While students enjoy summer break, the Emma Willard School campus is quietly evolving—blending sustainability with design innovation.

Stop the Presses!

One of the biggest media releases of the year was the announcement that we had exceeded our fundraising goal for Infinite Horizon: The Campaign for Emma Willard School. Going beyond, as we always do, the total announced that day was $178.2 million. Our total today stands at $186.6 million.
