Audrey F. ’25 was selected as a finalist out of thousands of Chinese students in the eastern part of the United States for a prestigious Chinese competition called “Chinese Bridge Competition,” or “汉语桥,” at the Chinese Institute In America hosted by the Chinese Consulate General in New York City.
She traveled to New York City and performed a speech in Chinese, answered judges' questions in Chinese, and sang a Chinese song by the famous artist Jay Chou (or 周杰伦). She won 3rd place out of 16 talented finalists and received a plaque, medal, and certificate. She is a student in Ms. Hao’s Chinese III class and is a Chinese Language tutor on campus. Congratulations, Audrey!
