Our French IV students had a live conversation with students in Côte d'Ivoire (in West Africa) last week as part of their explorations of the Francophonie, or French-speaking world. The class studied aspects of the culture and initiatives in Côte d'Ivoire, and developed questions to ask Ivorian high school students during a live conversation facilitated by French Instructor Manon Sabatier from Abidjan. All of her French students are now working on audio recordings captured during the trip. French IV students continue to further their explorations through recorded interviews and an Ivorian book.
