The Diwali celebration hosted by SASD and ASU included several activities for the Emma community to enjoy including henna, painting diyas, creating a rangoli, and of course, snacks!
To wrap up the celebration, diyas were lit outside in Kellas Garden.
Head of ASU/SASD Keemayaa J. ’27 said, “Emma’s Diwali Celebration was a night filled with light, joy, and togetherness. With many traditional activities like painting diyas and lighting them outside, having plenty of Indian snacks and desserts, the SASD members’ lively opening dance performance, and the popular henna station, the Diwali celebration overall was fantastic, leaving us with meaningful and memorable moments to cherish.”
