earth week craft event

Through the Ecolympics, EcoLeaders engaged the community in a 10-day competition, aimed at thinking and acting on what collective and individual actions we can take to become more aware of our impact on the earth. The community could choose from a list of 25 "green tasks" to earn points. Such tasks ranged from attending our monthly student-led interschool panel on sustainability, creating no food waste for a meal, showering for less than ten minutes, discussing important environmental issues with peers, taking a walk in nature, and more. The Class of 2028 was our first-ever Ecolympics Champions—congratulations! In addition, EmmaGreen's Earth Week event asked the community "what does the earth do for you and what will you do for the earth?" with answers to be written on discarded denim. The 110 pieces have been assembled together by Maela N ’26, and Esmé A. ’27.
