Sustainability leaders organized and ran the 2026 Constellation Conference this past Sunday, which is our second annual student-led conference on sustainability. Madame Sabatier and Ms. Graham took students to Northfield Mount Hermon to share ideas, inspire each other and connect with students who are working towards a more sustainable world. Approximately 35 students came to participate from Vermont Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon and Emma Willard School.
Once again, our students proved their abilities to present, moderate conversations to generate practical and inspiring ideas, and adapt when the snow significantly complicated our carefully laid-out plans! Kudos to all Emma students involved: Esmé A. ’27, Jennifer F. ’28, Maela N. ’26, Catherine S. ’28, Lada S. ’27, Inzhu U. ’27, Avery W. ’27, Ann Z. ’28, and Grace Z. ’28.
