Members of the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) EWS chapter participated in various competitive medical events with chapters from all over New York State. This year, eleven students competed in person at the Syracuse conference and 28 students competed in the online testing events.

For the first time in school history, Emma Willard placed first in New York for chapter points!

The individual and team awards for online and in person are shown below:

Kayley Y. ’25 won Gold for Dental Terminology
Zoe X. ’26 and Kayley Y. ’25 won Gold for Public Service Announcement
Kayley Y. ’25 won Silver for Medical Law and Ethics
Aida G. ’28 won Silver for Medical Reading
Grace S. ’26 won Bronze for Biotechnology
Jessica K. ’26 won Bronze for Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking
