On home…

I am a sophomore day student from Rexford, New York, and I grew up with my mom, dad, two older sisters, and my dog Cleo. 

 

On Emma…

I love Emma! I actually learned about Emma as one of my older sisters attended high school here. Even though I was very young when I first came to Emma, I clearly remember thinking, “I want to go here,” and ever since, it has been my dream to get accepted. I love how many different opportunities there are at Emma and how everyone can find their own paths, even in the same environment. 

 

On art…

I absolutely love art. Any form, any sort. Ever since I was little, I have always loved creating things and have taken multiple art classes and programs to grow as an artist. At Emma, I love being in the studios after school and during free periods. I am hoping to explore more medias as I always find myself going back to oil paints, which I am most comfortable with. 

 

And art classes…

My favorite class that I have taken at Emma is actually, not surprisingly, an art class. I am currently in advanced studio art, and I absolutely love it. I have a lot more freedom with my ideas and overall pieces than in other art classes I have taken in the past, and my teacher is amazing.

 

 

On Revels…

My favorite Emma tradition is definitely Revels. I love seeing all of the changes they make to the play each year and what seniors get what part! Getting ready with my friends is something I always look forward to, and I usually end up losing my voice the next day, but it is one hundred percent worth it.
