French Instructor Manon Sabatier shares: French I students are concluding their first year of French with an individual interview (all in French!) with a French-speaking person on campus (faculty, employees and students). In total, 22 people were interviewed (in French), by 22 students at the end of their first year of learning the language! The students prepared the questions, rehearsed and practiced them, conducted the interview and will now present about their French-speaking person to the class.
