Last Monday, Nicole Daly, owner of Hair Journeys Salon and Beauty Bar in Albany, came to speak with students of the Black Affinity Group and BLSU about the importance of aligning self care with hair care in celebration of the intersection of Black History Month and Women's History Month.
It was a great conversation that started with Nicole sharing her own personal journey to opening her own Black owned business, and ended with her answering a lot of great questions about hair care tips and product suggestions. Such a great evening! Thanks to Christine Gilmore and Isabell Shields for making this wonderful event happen!
