five students at a boot with information about their STEAM project

One of our STEAM 10 teams—Ella D. '25, Nadia M. '25, Olivia B. '25, and Roz K. '25—has been studying invasive fish of New York State.

They recently attended the 2023 Sustainability Fair to sell totes (designed by Ana V. '25, also in STEAM 10) to benefit the National Heritage Trust native fish conservation efforts. They have been testing local waters for evidence of invasive fish via eDNA using Cornell's Fish Tracker program. Thanks to Suzue Saito, one of the fair’s organizers, for sharing photos!
