Performing Arts

Tap your creativity in Emma Willard School’s music, dance, and theatre programs, where you will be empowered to hone your love of the performing arts.

We offer courses for all levels—for those exploring performance for the very first time to lifelong performers—and encourage girls to explore new areas, styles, and techniques. Whether you want to find your voice in one of our vocal music or theatre programs or bring movement to the music that moves you, you’re sure to find your place on our stage.

Visual Arts

Context and intention are keywords as our art students solve problems, build skills, gain confidence and learn the history of the various media they study in Emma Willard School's visual arts program. From sight-specific installations around campus to collaborations with the science department, we seek to expand students' understanding of both the function and meaning of art. They are challenged to experience their world in a fresh way, to open their eyes and really see.
